Kiran Rathod is a popular Indian actress. She has acted in Bollywood and Kollywood. After a yearlong hiatus she has returned in 2006. She is also the cousin of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon.
she is also a dress designer. She designed her own costumes for the film 'Andaroo Dongale Dorikithey' and made sensation with sexiest possible sarees with sleeveless and thread blouses.
Kiran had been trying her luck with some Bollywood movies but only ended up doing B and C grade movies, which just bombed at the box office. This resulted in all her offers vanishing and she being stranded mid air. She is now in a desperate situation and has started contacting south producers for work.
This time around she is fine with item numbers also and is not insisting on lead roles. In the meanwhile the chubby Kiran has also lost some weight and is looking lean and mean and in tune with times.
