Priyamani

Priyamani rose to fame with her national award winning performance in the Tamil movie Paruthiveeran .She played the character of "Muthazhagu", an innocent village girl, and did 100% justice to the role. She is one of those rare new generation actresses who has got very good acting skills. This is evident from the fact that she can do glamorous roles also with ease. Her role in movies like Thotta and Satyam prove this.

Priyamani was born in Palakkad , Kerala in 1984 and got her first movie from the great director Bharathiraja. She has also acted in Balu Mahendras movie Adhu oru Kanakalam. Although both were flops, the experience she gained from those two movies has definitely helped her to be a better actress.
